Receives incoming sales inquiries and forward leads or determines the best way to respond in consultation with the Sales Manager. Works closely with Territory Managers to quote and follow up on quotes to customers. Cold call leads and prospective customers and pass leads on to sales management as appropriate.
Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition:
- Actively seeks out new customers and clients through various sales strategies.
- Builds and maintains a pipeline of potential leads.
Relationship Building:
- Establishes and nurture relationships with clients to understand their needs.
- Provides product knowledge and information to potential customers.
Sales Presentations:
- Delivers compelling and persuasive sales presentations to showcase products or services.
- Addresses customer concerns and objections effectively.
Quota Achievement:
- Meets or exceeds sales targets and quotas.
- Continuously works towards achieving individual and team goals.
Market Research:
- Stays informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Uses market insights to identify new opportunities.
Customer Service:
- Provides excellent post-sale support and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Resolves customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
Sales Reporting:
- Keeps accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Generates regular reports on sales performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Minimum of OND Certificate
- Previous sales experience.
- Knowledge in the solar sector will be preferred.
- Motivation and fearless attitude towards sales.
