Job Summary
An Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing engineering teams to ensure that projects are completed successfully and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Leads, mentors, and develops a team of engineers to achieve their full potential.
- Project Management: Oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
- Resource Allocation: Manages and allocates resources effectively to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Technical Guidance: Provides technical guidance and support to engineering teams to solve complex problems.
- Process Improvement: Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaboration: Works closely with other departments, such as product management and operations, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Reporting: Prepares and presents regular reports on project status, team performance, and key metrics to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- B.Eng/B.Sc/B.Tech in engineering required.
- Minimum 6 – 10 years relevant work experience.
- Master’s degree in engineering or MBA a plus

- Flexible thinking, including the ability to pivot and try new approaches when faced with challenges
- Proficiency using presentation software to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders

- Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools a plus
- Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms
- Experience using System Applications and Products (SAP) software
