Job Summary

A Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities aimed at driving the growth for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying Opportunities: Analyse market trends and identify new business opportunities to pursue.
  • Developing Strategies: Create and implement business development strategies to increase sales and profits.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.

  • Revenue Targets: Ensure the company meets or exceeds revenue targets.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide training and mentorship to business development staff.
  • Investor Relations: Pitch ideas to potential investors and secure funding for projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development.
